Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz comes to the cage accompanied by Tech N9ne - Livin' Like I'm Dyin. Larry Tanaka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz shoots in looking for a takedown. Tanaka tries to sprawl out of it but Cruz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tanaka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tanaka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cruz.
Cruz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cruz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cruz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tanaka avoids a punch combination nicely.

It looks like Felix Cruz has been cut.
Cruz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tanaka.

Tanaka sends Cruz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tanaka is motioning to the referee to let Cruz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Cruz is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tanaka jabs Cruz to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cruz is breathing heavily.
Tanaka lands a slapping body shot.
Tanaka has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cruz is aggressively charging in as Tanaka backs up avoiding any damage. Tanaka tosses out a jab and Cruz runs right into it face first! Cruz is out cold! Tanaka dropped down on all fours and is barking in Cruz's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Larry Tanaka seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
