Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zack Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kortas Kozeris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young comes to the cage accompanied by you ain;t a killa - BigPun. Kortas Kozeris is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zack Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kortas Kozeris! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kozeris lands a head kick!
Kozeris pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Young shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kozeris eats them both and turns towards Young to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Young blocks a head kick by Kozeris.
Kozeris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kozeris cracks Young with a right hand to the side of the head. Young lands with a hook. Kozeris tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kozeris throws a big shot that misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Young tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kozeris stuffs the takedown attempt from Young. Young gets slowly back to his feet. Young tries to bum rush Kozeris with a series of wild strikes but Kozeris uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Young misses with a wild combination.
Young shoots for a takedown but Kozeris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kozeris throws a sloppy head kick and Young moves out of range easily. Kozeris misses with a head kick.
Young uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kozeris. Young shoots in and drives through. Kozeris sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zack Young. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kortas Kozeris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Young is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kozeris sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kozeris takes one to the chin there. Young blocks a head kick by Kozeris.

Kozeris moves in looking to clinch but Young pushes him off. Kozeris connects with a solid leg kick. Young is breathing heavily. Kozeris tries to clinch there but Young circles away.
Kozeris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kozeris scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Young shoots in and drives through. Kozeris sprawls well. Kozeris has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Kozeris throws a head kick that misses. Kozeris gets a clinch. Kozeris slows down the pace here.

Young tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kozeris swivels and escapes. Young uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kozeris. Kozeris throws a nice looking combination but Young bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A left and a right from Kozeris both land. Nice combination. Kozeris throws a hook but Young blocks it. Young gets a double leg takedown into Kozeris's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Young throwing strikes but missing. Young has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Young won't allow Kozeris to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Young passes into half guard. Young seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Kozeris is staying active underneath Young, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kortas Kozeris dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Young throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kozeris tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Young is in Kozeris's guard. Young is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Young slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Young looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Young wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kozeris, who protects the arm well. Young advances to mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kozeris can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kozeris to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kozeris shrugs it off. Young throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Young unloading with bombs! Young trying to control but he's not successful this time. Young working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Kozeris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Young. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Young looking to control but Kozeris is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kozeris is bucking up trying to escape but Young cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Kozeris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Young misses with a double jab.

Kozeris throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Young. Kozeris throws a head kick that misses. Young works over Kozeris's head and body with a nice combination. Kozeris clinches with his opponent.

and Young holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Young throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kozeris was covering up waiting for the punch and Young finishes the takedown easily into guard. Young stands and throws Kozeris's legs to the side, diving into side control. Young advances to full mount. Kozeris avoids a series of strikes thrown by Young.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kozeris has given up his back here. Will Young look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Young has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Kozeris is defending well but eventually Young manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Kozeris has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Zack Young! Zack Young really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KAISER Nutrition (160!/220$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
