Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pietro Maximoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Stokoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Stokoe will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximoff displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Maximoff scores a takedown into full mount!
Maximoff looking to secure an arm triangle but Stokoe defends it well.
Stokoe holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Maximoff tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Stokoe keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Maximoff looking to control but Stokoe is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Maximoff controlling the position easily from mount.

Stokoe working to try and regain half guard.
Maximoff tries to control but Stokoe wriggling away.
Stokoe tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Maximoff avoids the attempt from Stokoe to control.
Maximoff trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Stokoe sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Stokoe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Maximoff stalling away here and it's allowed Stokoe to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Maximoff in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stokoe is working an open guard so Maximoff takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Stokoe looks gassed!
Stokoe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Maximoff counters with a nice uppercut.
Maximoff blocks a low kick nicely.
Stokoe shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Maximoff counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Stokoe trying to control but Maximoff postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maximoff controlling the action here.
Maximoff is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stokoe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Maximoff.
Maximoff frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Stokoe takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Stokoe regains half guard.
Stokoe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Maximoff wants to take a breather but Stokoe is having none of it.
Stokoe moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pietro Maximoff dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Maximoff fails to land the takedown.
Stokoe misses with a takedown attempt
and Maximoff decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stokoe's guard.
Stokoe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Stokoe looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Maximoff passes into side control.
Stokoe managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Maximoff.

Maximoff landing a few strikes.
Maximoff has control of an arm but Stokoe manages to advance to Maximoff's back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stokoe is covering up but some of the strikes from Maximoff are getting through and doing damage.
Stokoe has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Stokoe trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
I would not like to be Stokoe right now.
Stokoe is trying to control his opponent's hands. Eventually Maximoff gets his hands free and sinks in a rear naked choke. For a while it looks like Stokoe is going to survive but after struggling valiantly, he eventually has to tap out! Maximoff is your winner!
