Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Maul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pereira's entrance music is Method Man ft Redman - Da Rockwilder. A fine choice. Alex Pereira has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Pereira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Maul! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maul lands a lovely overhand right. Maul throws a jab but it's blocked by Pereira. A slapping leg kick lands for Pereira.
The crowd cheers as Maul lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pereira doesn't seem phased though. Maul throws a jab but it's blocked by Pereira. Maul tries to clinch up. Pereira scores with a jab to the head.
A right-left combo lands from Maul. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pereira pushes Maul away with a front kick. Pereira chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Pereira on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Pereira fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Maul has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Pereira moves to clinch but Maul breaks away and Maul counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Pereira misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maul throws a body punch but Pereira moves out of range. Maul checks a low kick from Pereira. Pereira lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Pereira tries to clinch up but Maul circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maul is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pereira. A looping hook to the body misses from Maul. Pereira does a little dance to reset his feet. Pereira connects with a single shot there. Pereira takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Maul's corner calls for a 1-2. Maul obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Pereira moves into the clinch. Pereira is looking to control Maul's arms but Maul gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pereira has his back to the cage. Maul stalling.
A battle for position here, against the cage. A short left from Maul. Maul pushes Pereira back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Pereira tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Pereira connects with a nasty looking knee right to Maul's face.
Maul lands a nice shot to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pereira tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Maul escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pereira uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Maul. Pereira drops his hands momentarily and Maul takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pereira is rocked! Maul drops Pereira with a big left hand! Pereira is injured, injured bad! Maul jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
