Tanimoto tries a head kick but it misses.

Sloppy strikes from Korotkov. Those never looked like landing.
Korotkov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tanimoto moves away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Korotkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tanimoto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tanimoto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Tanimoto has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Tanimoto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tanimoto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tanimoto postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Korotkov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tanimoto, into his guard.
Tanimoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Korotkov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Tanimoto has his foot on Korotkov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Korotkov works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Korotkov drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Korotkov seems to have locked his on tight now - Tanimoto screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Korotkov, as he picks up the win!
