Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between IP Freely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elliott Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanley is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Terror - One with the Underdogs. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, IP Freely! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elliott Stanley! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stanley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stanley wants it to stay on the feet. Stanley has managed to clinch.
Stanley gets underhooks to prevent Freely's takedown attempt.
Nice elbow from Stanley. Stanley breaks the clinch.
Stanley throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Freely shoots in and drives through. Stanley sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for IP Freely. That's going to take a lot out of him. Freely looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Freely preventing the sweep. Freely stands up from guard. Let's bang! Freely keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stanley connects with the punch. Stanley misses with a head kick.
Elliott Stanley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stanley throws a leg kick but Freely sees it coming and moves out of range. Freely looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stanley is fending him off so far but Freely persists. Nope, Stanley circles away and we're back to standing. Stanley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanley throws a sloppy head kick and Freely moves out of range easily. Stanley swings for the body but Freely moves out of range.
Stanley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Freely moves away. Freely darts in looking for a takedown but Stanley gets double underhooks and turns Freely into the cage. Stanley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Freely is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Stanley to the mat. Stanley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Stanley wants to stand but Freely is controlling the position. Freely is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Freely showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Stanley keeping full guard, as Freely tries to pass. Stanley is pulling down on Freely's head. It's preventing any offense from Freely, at least for the moment. Stanley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Freely throwing strikes from guard but Stanley blocks nicely. Freely gets to his feet. Stanley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stanley tries to sprawl but Freely drives through with a takedown into half guard. Freely wants to work for an arm triangle but Stanley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stanley is refusing to be controlled, as Freely sits in half guard. Stanley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stanley trying to control but Freely postures up.
Freely trying to control the action but Stanley is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freely takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stanley is refusing to be controlled, as Freely sits in half guard. Freely is looking for a kimura but Stanley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Freely to get the leverage. Stanley is looking to escape. Freely seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stanley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Stanley wants to get back to his feet. Still in half guard, Freely seems content to control. Freely drops an elbow to the side of Stanley's head.
Stanley is rocked! The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stanley is still in real trouble! Can Freely finish him? Freely looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stanley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Freely is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Stanley is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
