The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James moves in looking to clinch but Breneman pushes him off.
James is looking to land body kicks.
Breneman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Breneman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
James tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Breneman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
James has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Breneman is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Breneman darts in looking for a takedown but James gets double underhooks and turns Breneman into the cage.
