Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Zaitsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zaitsev has closed the distance and engaged Cooper in a clinch.
Cooper successfully pulls guard.
Cooper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zaitsev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zaitsev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cooper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cooper is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Zaitsev is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zaitsev tries to stand but Cooper is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We're going to have a standup here because Sheldon Cooper wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Zaitsev shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zaitsev was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cooper is trying to control Zaitsev's posture but Zaitsev avoids it. Cooper gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cooper has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Zaitsev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cooper keeps working.

Zaitsev wants to control but Cooper is keeping him busy. Cooper is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zaitsev pulls his head out easily. Cooper trying to hold on to Zaitsev's head to control him but Zaitsev postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaitsev performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fedor Zaitsev has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Zaitsev has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zaitsev has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cooper uses from the top position. Cooper stopping the sweep attempt from Zaitsev. Zaitsev looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Cooper pushes down on Zaitsev's leg and manages to get into half guard. Cooper is looking for a kimura here.

Cooper has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zaitsev after a bit of a struggle. Cooper ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cooper no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Zaitsev postures up.
Zaitsev looking to sit in guard and control but Cooper gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Zaitsev keeping moving, preventing Cooper from controlling successfully. Cooper works a leg free and moves into half guard. Zaitsev trying to control from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zaitsev is not content to let Cooper control the position. Zaitsev tries to kick Cooper off but Cooper keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cooper is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Zaitsev is looking to control Cooper's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zaitsev avoid being mounted? Still in half guard, Cooper seems content to control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cooper closes the distance and clinches. Zaitsev wants the takedown. Cooper is fighting it off but Zaitsev persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cooper's guard against the cage. Zaitsev stopping the sweep attempt from Cooper. Zaitsev drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zaitsev scores with punches from side control. Zaitsev working away. Cooper tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zaitsev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Cooper looking for a sweep but Zaitsev has passed into full mount! Oh no! Cooper is desperately trying to improve his position but Zaitsev has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper tries to hold on but Zaitsev postures up. Zaitsev wants to control but instead Cooper manages to regain half guard. Cooper won't allow Zaitsev to pass to mount. Cooper trying to hold on to Zaitsev's head to control him but Zaitsev postures up.
Zaitsev is taking a breather. Cooper says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zaitsev is keen to just control but Cooper is a slippery customer. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaitsev trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cooper wants to control but Zaitsev is having none of it. Zaitsev scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper is trying desperately to improve position. Zaitsev wants to control the pace but Cooper is squirming around nicely. Cooper tries to lock up and control but Zaitsev gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Zaitsev can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cooper is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Fedor Zaitsev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Zaitsev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
