The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ribeiro sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gracie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ribeiro on his heels. He'll look to pass Ribeiro's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Ribeiro is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gracie is aware though and is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ribeiro is pressing down on Gracie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Gracie has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ribeiro to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gracie is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ribeiro pulls down on the head and he's put Gracie to sleep! This one is all over!
