Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Beckett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Beckett has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Beckett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Allen!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen with a hook.
An inside leg kick from Allen misses.
Beckett tries to work over Allen's front leg with a kick but Allen checks it.
Allen clobbers Beckett with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Allen throws a sloppy body shot
and Beckett counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Allen motions for Beckett to come forward. Allen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Beckett looks to land a right hand but Allen moved out of range.
Beckett looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Beckett thows a body shot but no joy.
Beckett's jab looks to have found its range, popping Allen under the eye.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Allen.
Beckett tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Beckett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Allen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Allen throws a nice inside leg kick.
Beckett digs a good body shot into Allen's ribs.
Allen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Beckett. Beckett circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Allen throws a leg kick which misses Beckett's front leg but catches the back leg as Beckett tries to avoid it.

Beckett takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Allen cracks Beckett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Allen catches Beckett with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Allen throws the kick towards the body but Beckett avoids it.
Allen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beckett moves away.
Allen misses the jab.
Allen cracks Beckett with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Allen is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Donk. Allen catches Beckett right on the button with a cross.
Beckett on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Beckett swings widly with a right hand

and Allen counters with a takedown into side control.
Beckett can't do much from the bottom here.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Beckett is not content to let Allen control the position.
Beckett might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Allen is putting a hurting on Beckett here, landing some big shots from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Allen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Allen in particular looking to stall.

Beckett has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Allen is working away from the top position though.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Still in half guard, Allen seems content to control.
Allen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beckett does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Allen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Allen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beckett manages to avoid it.

I would just about give that final round to Barry Allen.
Well Allen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
