Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Rapide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wanderlei Rapide is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rapide has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rapide is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rapide takes a shot to the head.
Rapide is trying to force a seperation but Slice has the dominant position.
Slice tries to stall but Rapide uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Slice misses with a punch to the body.
Rapide blocks an uppercut.
Slice wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rapide has him pressed against the cage.
Rapide is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Slice gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A frustrated look appears on Rapide's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Rapide has Slice pressed against the cage, preventing Slice from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Slice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slice tries to close the distance and clinch but Rapide swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slice throws a right and a left that both miss.
Slice throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rapide counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Rapide looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rapide ducks under a wild hook from Slice.
Rapide shoots in for a double leg but Slice sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Slice throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rapide's waist but Rapide gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slice off to one side.

It looks like Wanderlei Rapide has been cut.
Rapide is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Slice would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Slice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rapide bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Slice's guard.

Slice leaves Rapide with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Slice darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rapide shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slice pinned against the cage. Slice gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Slice fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rapide avoids it really well and circles away.

Slice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Slice fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rapide, pushing him back against the cage.
Rapide breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rapide dives in and grabs Slice's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slice pushes down on Rapide's head and hops out.
Slice tries to bum rush Rapide with a series of wild strikes but Rapide uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
