Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juan Tamad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Belton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamad comes into the arena with The Joker blaring out of the sound system. Juan Tamad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belton misses with a body shot.
Tamad blocks a low kick nicely. Tamad pivots, looking for a leg kick but Belton is out of range and Tamad settles back down. We've been informed that Belton has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Tamad scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Tamad keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Belton . Tamad slips under a jab. Belton throws a push kick but Tamad slaps the foot to one side. Tamad takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tamad checks a low kick from Belton . Tamad on the wrong end of a nice hook. Tamad looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Belton throws out a loose jab but Tamad uses good head movement to avoid it. A kick lands to the mid section there for Belton . Belton scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Tamad thows a body shot but no joy. Tamad blocks the body kick.

Belton scores with a nice strike. Good leg kick by Belton there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belton on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tamad. Tamad obviously looking to wear him down.
Belton throws a leg kick that is checked and Tamad counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Belton ! Belton is looking for a sweep. Tamad laying and praying for a moment but Belton takes advantage and regains half guard. Belton gets back to full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tamad is looking to work some ground and pound but Belton has wrist control. Tamad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belton swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tamad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Belton wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tamad throws a big right hand that misses. Tamad distracts Belton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Belton looking for a sweep. Not yet Belton , not yet. Tamad trying to control the position from guard on top but Belton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tamad in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tamad throws a big right hand that misses. Belton keeping moving, preventing Tamad from controlling successfully. Belton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tamad manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tamad trying to control but he's not successful this time. Tamad is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Belton can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Tamad has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Belton 's face.
Belton slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Tamad trying to control from half guard but Belton is working away. Tamad landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Tamad trying to control the action but Belton is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tamad drops an elbow to the side of Belton 's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Belton is looking to improve his position.
Belton works his way to full guard. Good work. Tamad missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Belton keeping moving, preventing Tamad from controlling successfully. Belton wants to get back to his feet but Tamad is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tamad throws a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Tamad dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Belton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Belton thuds a left hand into Tamad's body. Belton throws a big shot that misses. A slow jab from Tamad misses its intended target. Both fighters circling a little - Belton finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Tamad lands a jab to the head.
Belton connects with a leg kick. Tamad looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Juan Tamad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tamad connects with a nice looking jab.
Belton slips under a jab from Tamad. Belton slaps away a takedown attempt from Tamad, before circling back to the center of the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Belton throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Nice jab there from Tamad. Belton motions for Tamad to come forward. Belton throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Tamad as he connects with a hook. Belton checks a leg kick nicely. Belton misses with a hook. Belton lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Tamad keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tamad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Belton moves away. Tamad on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Belton . Belton obviously looking to wear him down.
A slapping body kick lands there for Belton . Belton looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A chopping leg kick lands by Belton . Bill Belton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Belton avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Belton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tamad doesn't seem bothered though. Belton tests Tamad's chin there with a solid looking shot. Tamad misses the shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tamad crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Belton - the referee stops the clock and Tamad gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Belton . Tamad manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Belton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Belton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tamad looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Belton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Belton misses with a looping left. Belton tries to land a front kick but Tamad steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Tamad takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Belton tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Tamad throws a jab when Belton was well out of range. Tamad shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A swing and a miss from Tamad. Belton throws an off balance right hand
and Tamad counters with a takedown into side control. Belton is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tamad is controlling him well. Belton struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belton regains half guard. Tamad throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Tamad wants to free his trapped foot but Belton is holding on for dear life with his legs. Tamad looks to land a strike but Belton avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Tamad advances position into side control! Belton is looking for a sweep. Belton is trying to control Tamad's posture but Tamad avoids it. Belton is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tamad off and has taken his back!

Tamad looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Belton wants to control but Tamad manages to buck him off and is now in Belton 's guard! Nice work there by Tamad! That was a close second round but I would say that Juan Tamad will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

You can see the frustration on Belton 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Belton regains half guard there - taking advantage of Tamad's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Can Belton avoid being mounted? Juan Tamad is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tamad is taking a breather. Belton says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Belton is trying to get back to full guard. And that's the end of the fight! Juan Tamad showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tamad, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
