Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ditberg closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pieda circles away.
Pieda scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Pieda has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pieda jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ditberg walks away with a smile on his face. Pieda gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pieda tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ditberg manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ditberg dives in and scores a takedown into Pieda's guard.

Ditberg stands and throws Pieda's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ditberg wants to stand but Pieda is controlling his arm.
