Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carpet Chair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ange Fili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fili has chosen Spaceship Superstar as his entrance music. Carpet Chair has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ange Fili!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fili scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Carpet Chair has been cut.

Fili gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Chair lands a couple of elbows.
Chair stops Fili from standing up.
Chair pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fili is keeping the position for now.
Chair is working hard here to advance position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chair with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fili is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Chair is working Fili over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fili utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fili is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chair is controlling him.
Fili really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chair. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chair keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fili's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fili wants to get back to his feet but Chair is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Chair chips away with some ground and pound.
Chair lands a couple of digs.
Fili is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chair cracks Fili with a solid left hand.
Fili wants to stand up but Chair is controlling him.

Chair drops back looking for a leg! Fili is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fili manages to kick Chair off! Chair jumps back into Fili's guard.
Fili is looking to stand up but Chair isn't so interested in that idea.
Chair stands up over Fili, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chair scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Chair landing with the ground and pound.

Fili is rocked!
Chair pushing down on Fili's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Fili is still in real trouble! Can Chair finish him?
Fili is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chair scores with a couple of nice shots.
Chair stops Fili from getting back to his feet.
Chair works his way into side control.
Chair cracks Fili with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Chair immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Fili is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Chair!

In his post fight interview, Carpet Chair started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
