Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rich Van Winkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Cusano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Fabio Cusano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rich Van Winkle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fabio Cusano!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cusano gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Van Winkle.
Van Winkle throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Van Winkle moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cusano moves forwards but Van Winkle connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Cusano throws a nice inside leg kick.
Van Winkle misses with a right hand
and Cusano counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Cusano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Winkle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Van Winkle is looking to stand up but Cusano isn't so interested in that idea.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Winkle keeping moving, preventing Cusano from controlling successfully.
Cusano is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cusano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cusano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Van Winkle controls Cusano momentarily but Cusano frees himself.
Van Winkle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cusano on the ground.
Cusano thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cusano drops back looking for a leg! Van Winkle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Van Winkle manages to kick Cusano off! Cusano jumps back into Van Winkle's guard.
Cusano drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cusano seems to have locked his on tight now - Van Winkle screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cusano, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Fabio Cusano!
