Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Dragon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Dragon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Logan Sackett!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Sackett.
Sackett lands a front kick.
Dragon closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dragon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Sackett.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sackett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dragon.

Dragon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sackett tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dragon is in Sackett's guard.
Sackett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dragon postures up in Sackett's guard and throws a big left but Sackett blocks it.

Dragon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sackett is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dragon, into his guard.
Sackett is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sackett told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Sackett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Sackett stands up over Dragon, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Sackett lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sackett wants to stand and escape but instead Dragon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Dragon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sackett swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dragon looking to sit in guard and control but Sackett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dragon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sackett gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sackett's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sackett scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Sackett keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dragon's head.
Sackett lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Dragon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sackett's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dragon keeping moving, preventing Sackett from controlling successfully.

Dragon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sackett must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Sackett lands a couple of digs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sackett stands up over Dragon, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sackett controlling from the top position.

Dragon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Logan Sackett dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Sackett lands a high kick!
Sackett throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dragon on the side of the head.
Dragon darts in looking for a takedown but Sackett gets double underhooks and turns Dragon into the cage.
Dragon misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sackett.
Sackett stops a takedown attempt from Dragon.
Sackett gets through Dragon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Sackett lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Sackett lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Sackett scores with a nice hook to the head.
Dragon's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!


Dragon is rocked!
Sackett misses with the head strike.
Oh Dragon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sackett misses with a hook from the clinch.
Sackett misses with a short punch on the inside.
Dragon seems to have got his legs back now.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dragon.
Sackett lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dragon backwards.
Sackett lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dragon backwards.
Dragon has been working on his balance at All Around Training, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Sackett.
Sackett gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dragon.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dragon takes a shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sackett dips a shoulder and cracks Dragon with a mighty uppercut! Dragon falls back against the cage and Sackett unloads with a barrage of strikes! Dragon is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sackett screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Logan Sackett!
