The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngo closes the distance and clinches up with Kimmo, looking for a takedown. Ngo pushes Kimmo against the cage but Kimmo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ngo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ngo fails with a takedown attempt.
Kimmo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Henry Ngo has been cut.
Ngo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kimmo defends it nicely.
Michael Kimmo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Ngo.
Kimmo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ngo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ngo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kimmo wants to control but Ngo postures up.

Ngo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kimmo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ngo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kimmo is trying to escape and Ngo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kimmo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ngo! Very nice indeed!
