Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Phalcon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ion Standfaff!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phalcon goes for a double leg but Standfaff avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Standfaff continues to drive forward.
Standfaff fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Standfaff tightens his grip and picks Phalcon up, before dumping him to the ground. Phalcon manages to land in guard.
Standfaff looking to pass the guard.
Phalcon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Standfaff wants to improve his position but Phalcon is controlling well.
Phalcon wants to stand up but Standfaff has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Standfaff is looking for a sweep. Phalcon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Standfaff is in trouble now - Phalcon has advanced to mount!
Standfaff tries to hold on but Phalcon postures up.

Standfaff is looking to get to half guard.
Phalcon trying to control but Standfaff is having none of it.
Standfaff tries to reverse the position but Phalcon maintains control.
Phalcon controlling his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Standfaff is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Phalcon is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Phalcon!
