Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ty Timber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Vettel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ty Timber has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vettel crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Timber - the referee stops the clock and Vettel gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Timber. Vettel manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ty Timber dominated that round.

Timber lands a nice looking kick to the body. Vettel takes a step back to recover.
Vettel has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Timber.

and Vettel counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Vettel prevents Timber from breaking the clinch.
Vettel tightens his grip and picks Timber up, before dumping him to the ground. Timber manages to land in guard.
Timber is looking to stand back up but Vettel counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Timber.
Vettel drops an elbow to the side of Timber's head.
Timber is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Vettel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Vettel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Timber defends it well.

Vettel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vettel seems to be looking for submissions.
Vettel wants to work for an arm triangle but Timber is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Vettel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Timber defends it well.
Vettel is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Vettel is nestled in close to Timber, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Timber might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Vettel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Timber with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Vettel is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Timber is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
