Nice takedown defense from Tyler. No joy for Corrales on that attempt.

Corrales changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyler tries to avoid it but Corrales manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyler to the ground. Tyler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Corrales closes the distance and clinches up with Tyler, looking for a takedown. Corrales pushes Tyler against the cage but Tyler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Horrible takedown by Corrales or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyler which made him look bad.

Corrales takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Corrales shoots in and drives through. Tyler sprawls well.
Corrales shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyler tries to sprawl out of it but Corrales keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Tyler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Corrales.

Tyler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Corrales goes for a double leg but Tyler avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tyler continues to drive forward.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Corrales is trying to pull guard but Tyler turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Tyler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Tyler counters with a series of strikes that sends Corrales to the canvas! Tyler follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

Corrales is trying desperately to land a takedown but Tyler is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Corrales.
Corrales drops his hands momentarily. Tyler doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Corrales staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Corrales doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
