Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris tries to land a front kick but Hughes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hughes wants to clinch
letting Morris counter with a right hand.
Hughes throws a head kick that misses.
Hughes closes the distance but Morris moves to the side
and Morris counters with a two punch combo.
Morris lands a body shot.
Morris avoids the head kick by Hughes.
Morris blocks a head kick by Hughes.
Hughes clinches up with Morris and pushes him back against the ropes.
A short left from Morris.
Morris lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hughes backwards.
Hughes with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
A short right from Morris on the inside.
Morris pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Morris misses with a wild combination.
Morris has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hughes is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Morris blocks a head kick by Hughes.

Hughes on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Hughes wants to clinch but Morris slips to the side
and Morris counters with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hughes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Morris misses with the combination.
Morris takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Morris's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Morris duly obliges.
Hughes is rocked!
Morris throws a right and a left that Hughes avoids nicely.

and Morris counters with a left and a right that stings Hughes.
Oh Hughes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Morris staggers Hughes with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Hughes looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Morris is victorious!
