Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mariusz Gorawski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Coach!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorawski lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Danga de danga de dang - Coach scores with a four punch combination!
Gorawski moves out of range of the leg kick from Coach.
Gorawski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Coach ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gorawski moves away.
Gorawski throws a nice looking combination but Coach bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Coach instigates a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gorawski blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Coach wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Coach misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gorawski.
Coach wants a takedown.
Coach is trying to break the clinch but Gorawski is controlling him.

Gorawski jumps into guard, dragging Coach to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Coach passes Gorawski's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Coach is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coach is looking to stall here but Gorawski recovers full guard.
Coach throws an elbow that misses. Gorawski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Coach's guard. Nice move by Gorawski!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coach looking to control.
Gorawski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Coach wants to improve his position but instead Gorawski has moved into half guard.
Coach moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Coach is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Coach looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Coach throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Gorawski escapes and throws Coach's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Coach sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Coach is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gorawski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gorawski's back!
Gorawski has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Coach.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Coach lands a shot to the body.
Coach has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Gorawski.
Gorawski is trying to stand back up.
Gorawski trying to control the position but Coach manages to sink in the hooks.
Gorawski covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Coach thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Gorawski tries to break free.

Coach is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gorawski has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Coach lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Gorawski.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Coach dominated that round.

Gorawski misses with a takedown attempt - Coach sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Coach changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gorawski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gorawski pushes Coach away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Coach gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
James Coach has got the better of the ground game so far.
Coach misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gorawski is looking for a sweep.
Coach working the strikes but Gorawski uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Coach not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gorawski is not content to let Coach control the position.
Coach looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Gorawski gets back to full guard.
Gorawski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Coach missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Coach advances position into side control!
Coach misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Gorawski is not content to let Coach control the position.
Gorawski wants to get back to his feet.
Gorawski avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Coach.

Gorawski parries the strikes from Coach easily there. Coach is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gorawski to escape.

Coach is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gorawski is trying to escape and Coach transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gorawski is forced to tap! Nice work there by Coach! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). James Coach!
