Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Melton Sr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melton Sr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kanye West - All Of The Lights. Jones has chosen Freedom Will Commence as his entrance music. Alex Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Melton Sr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Jones! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones feints and then cracks Melton Sr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Melton Sr down. Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Melton Sr doesn't seem bothered though. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jones scores with a sloppy right hand. Melton Sr should have avoided that one. Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Michael Melton Sr has been cut. Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Melton Sr doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Melton Sr closes the distance looking to clinch and Jones makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Melton Sr really felt that one! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Melton Sr thows a body shot but no joy. Jones avoids the body shot from Melton Sr.
Jones scores with a leg kick.
Melton Sr is breathing heavily. Jones digs a good body shot into Melton Sr's ribs. Jones digs a good hook to Melton Sr's body.
Jones catches Melton Sr napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Melton Sr to the canvas!
Melton Sr is rocked! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jones wants to stand but Melton Sr is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Melton Sr works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Melton Sr keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jones throws a big elbow that misses. Jones wanted to stand there but Melton Sr had control of the position. Melton Sr preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Melton Sr controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jones trying to stand up but can't free himself from Melton Sr's guard. Jones postures up in Melton Sr's guard and throws a big left but Melton Sr blocks it. Melton Sr is adopting a defensive guard. Melton Sr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Melton Sr looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jones advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones winds up and cracks Melton Sr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Jones wants to stand up but Melton Sr is controlling the position.
Jones thows a huge punch but Melton Sr dodges it nicely.
Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Melton Sr is looking to improve his position.
Jones looks to land a strike but Melton Sr avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Melton Sr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Melton Sr's closed guard. He's half up but Melton Sr has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Melton Sr pivots and extends the arm, Jones falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Melton Sr! Well done that man!
