Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stig Helmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Kenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenny has chosen Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

15 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stig Helmer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, King Kenny! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helmer with a lazy takedown attempt and Kenny counters with a body kick that stops Helmer in his tracks momentarily. Helmer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kenny manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kenny is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kenny holds on and takes a little breather. Kenny working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Helmer. Helmer scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Helmer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kenny looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kenny looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kenny! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Helmer is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Helmer is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Helmer managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kenny.
Kenny in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Helmer tries to bench press Kenny off him but Kenny keeps the position. Kenny working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
It looks like Stig Helmer has been cut. Helmer is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at GnP Factory Elite Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Helmer taking a bit of punishment here - Kenny scoring with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kenny trying to control the action but Helmer is working from the bottom. I've been told that Kenny has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game. Kenny in side control lands a decent elbow. Kenny working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kenny wants to lay and pray for a moment but Helmer keeps working. Kenny working the body and head with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kenny landing a few strikes. You can see the frustration on Helmer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Helmer is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Helmer is rocked!
Stig Helmer's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Helmer is looking for a sweep. Helmer is not content to let Kenny control the position. Helmer manages to get back to half guard. Helmer works his way to full guard. Good work. Helmer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kenny doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Helmer is tightening it up a little... Kenny has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kenny reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kenny taps out! Nice BJJ there by Helmer!
