Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pan Goatboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goatboy has chosen Bill Hicks - Goat boy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Pan Goatboy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodbrok misses with a takedown
and Goatboy counters with a straight right hand.
Lodbrok looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lodbrok takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lodbrok shoots for a takedown but Goatboy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lodbrok has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ragnar Lodbrok. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice defenses there by Goatboy.
Goatboy stuffs the takedown attempt from Lodbrok. Lodbrok gets slowly back to his feet.
Lodbrok shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lodbrok closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Lodbrok is looking for a kimura but Goatboy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lodbrok to get the leverage.

Goatboy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lodbrok. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lodbrok working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Lodbrok looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Goatboy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lodbrok is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Goatboy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ragnar Lodbrok!

A relieved looking Ragnar Lodbrok thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Pan Goatboy stepped up to the mic, saying 'Goatboy was here to please you!'.
