Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaylord Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Tyson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gaylord Potter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Tyson! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potter throws a leg kick but Tyson sees it coming and moves out of range. Potter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tyson throws a right and a left that Potter avoids nicely. Decent striking displayed by Tyson there.
It looks like Gaylord Potter has been cut. Tyson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Potter manages to avoid it. Potter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tyson to the ground. Potter is now in Tyson's guard. Tyson is looking to stand up but Potter isn't so interested in that idea. Tyson looks winded! Potter wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving. Potter gets to his feet - Tyson follows without any prompting. Tyson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Potter circles away quickly and effectively. Tyson misses with the combination.
A big right from Tyson misses. Potter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tyson sprawls well initially but Potter persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Potter is taking a breather. Tyson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Potter is looking to take a break and control but Tyson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Tyson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Potter manages to mount him!
Tyson is squirming around, avoiding Potter's attempts to control the action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Potter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Potter raining down hammerfists from mount. Tyson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Potter working the ground and pound effectively.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Potter stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Potter moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Potter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Potter throws a right hand that misses
and Tyson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Potter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tyson's half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Potter in particular looking to stall. Potter decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Mike Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Potter shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tyson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Potter creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Tyson being controlled for a moment. Potter is putting a hurting on Tyson here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter controlling from side mount. Potter trying to control the position but Tyson is working away. Potter decides to stand back up. Potter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tyson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Potter scores with punches from side control. Potter lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tyson down.
Potter staying calm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Potter has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Tyson wants to get back to his feet but Potter is dominant here and he's now got Tyson's back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Potter working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Tyson is doing well to defend. Potter seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Tyson is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gaylord Potter!
