Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutus Buffcake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brutus Buffcake was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derek Lynch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brutus Buffcake! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch drives through with a takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Lynch drops back looking for a leg! Buffcake is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Buffcake manages to kick Lynch off! Lynch jumps back into Buffcake's guard. Lynch slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lynch wants to pass the guard but Buffcake is keeping the position. Buffcake being controlled here, momentarily. Lynch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Buffcake is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynch is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Buffcake can't keep his opponent in guard - Lynch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lynch is working for a submission of some sort.
Lynch trying to mount his opponent but Buffcake defends it. Lynch is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Buffcake defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch is keen to just control but Buffcake is a slippery customer. Buffcake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lynch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lynch is working for a submission of some sort.
Lynch moves nicely into side control. Lynch has hold of Buffcake's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Buffcake tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lynch cranks the arm and Buffcake screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Buffcake, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Derek Lynch! Our winner, Derek Lynch, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
