Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antti Airo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Go (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toby Go is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Airo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Toby Go! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by Airo. Airo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Go! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Go managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Airo.
Go struggling a bit here. Airo trying to control the action but Go is working from the bottom. Go really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Airo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Airo is trying to get an arm triangle but Go is defending well. Go is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Airo has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Airo throwing shots but missing, from side control. Airo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Go, who protects the arm well. Go is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Airo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Go takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Airo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Go, who protects the arm well. Go pushes Airo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Airo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Airo is trying to get an arm triangle but Go is defending well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Airo throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Go is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Airo trying to control the action but Go is working from the bottom. Go looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Airo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Go has escaped the position, nice work there. Airo working the ground and pound from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Airo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Airo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Airo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Go defending against the ground and pound. Airo controlling from side mount. Airo throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Go works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Airo uses his free foot to push down on Go's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Go. Airo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Go has worked his arm free - good work by Go!
Airo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Go is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Airo is controlling him well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Go is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antti Airo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Airo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Airo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Airo trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Go manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Airo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Go defends it easily. Go wanted to stand there but Airo had control of the position. Airo trying to control the position.
Go wants to get up but he can't break Airo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Airo keeping moving, preventing Go from controlling successfully. Airo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Airo is trying to control the position but Go postures up. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Airo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Go has his hands clasped together but Airo extends and breaks Go's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Airo.
