The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Angel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Anderson successfully pulls guard.
El Angel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Anderson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
El Angel postures up and lands a big shot to Anderson's brow.

El Angel stands up over Anderson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson pulls El Angel in close to his closed guard and prevents El Angel from doing any damage or advancing position.
El Angel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

El Angel postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Anderson covers up, he's hurt! El Angel keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from El Angel and the ref steps in to end the fight! El Angel can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
