Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jobert Sucaldito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jobert Sucaldito told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Hero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jobert Sucaldito!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Damien Edna and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sucaldito swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sucaldito lands a left and a right that send Hero crashing to the mat, dazed. Sucaldito thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Chris Hero has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sucaldito lands with a nice body punch.
Sucaldito throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hero.
Hero takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sucaldito connects with a body shot.
Hero pushes Sucaldito up against the cage in a clinch.
Hero has clasped his hands together around Sucaldito's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Sucaldito looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sucaldito tries to escape but Hero is in control.
Hero tries to score with some ground and pound. Sucaldito controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Hero creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Sucaldito is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hero creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sucaldito sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hero with the ground and pound but Sucaldito regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Sucaldito is looking to improve his position.
Hero winds up and cracks Sucaldito with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Hero maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sucaldito could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hero has cracked it and Sucaldito is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hero!
