Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilligan Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obama has chosen sound of maddness as his entrance music. Jay Pearson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Obama pinned against the cage. Obama gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Obama looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pearson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Obama circles away.
Obama moves in looking to clinch but Pearson pushes him off.

Pearson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Obama but Obama pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pearson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Obama is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pearson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Obama's back instead.
Pearson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Obama defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Pearson is looking for the choke from the back position but Obama is controlling his hands well.
Obama has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Obama is trying to defend against the choke here but Pearson has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Pearson Tightens the hold and Obama taps out furiously! Pearson displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
