Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mihail Fedorenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Henderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mihail Fedorenko! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedorenko throws a looping overhand right but Henderson ducks down to avoid it. Henderson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fedorenko counters with a head kick. Henderson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Henderson moves away from the strike by Fedorenko. Fedorenko scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Fedorenko on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Mihail Fedorenko has been cut. A swing and a miss from Henderson. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Henderson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Henderson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Fedorenko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Henderson. Fedorenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fedorenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Henderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Henderson misses with the combination.

Henderson slips a jab from Fedorenko. Henderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fedorenko. Henderson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fedorenko. Henderson misses with a two punch combination.
Fedorenko misses with a head kick.
Henderson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A swing and a miss from Henderson. Dan Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fedorenko scores with the left hand. Henderson knows he should have avoided that one. A telegraphed right hand from Henderson misses the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fedorenko with a hook. Fedorenko misses with the combination.
Fedorenko missing with a left hand there. Henderson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A jab-cross combination lands for Henderson and sends Fedorenko crashing to the mat! Henderson follows him down to the mat - Fedorenko regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Fedorenko is rocked! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fedorenko taking some punishment here, with Henderson in his half guard. Fedorenko is still in real trouble! Can Henderson finish him? Henderson is thwarting Fedorenko's attempts to control the position. Henderson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Fedorenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fedorenko seems to have recovered his senses. Henderson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Henderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fedorenko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Henderson wants to get back to his feet.
Fedorenko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Henderson is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henderson is looking to take a break and control but Fedorenko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Henderson tries to pass to full mount but Fedorenko defends it. Fedorenko wants to control but Henderson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mihail Fedorenko. No joy there for Fedorenko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Henderson counters with a straight right hand.
That has opened up Mihail Fedorenko's cut even more. Henderson throws the left hand but Fedorenko avoids the punch easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Henderson misses with a looping left. Henderson misses with a series of wild punches.

Fedorenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fedorenko throws a nice looking combination but Henderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Henderson misses with a few strikes there.
Henderson steps into range and cracks Fedorenko with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Fedorenko flops backwards and Henderson dives into his guard looking to finish!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fedorenko trying to control the position.

Dan Henderson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mihail Fedorenko's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Henderson throws a hook but Fedorenko avoids it easily. Henderson looks to throw the jab but Fedorenko is out of range. Dan Henderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Henderson trying to control but Fedorenko is working from the bottom. Henderson wants to stand and escape but instead Fedorenko has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Fedorenko tries to stand but Henderson is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedorenko gets to his feet. Henderson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Henderson throws a series of punches but Fedorenko avoids them all with ease. Henderson avoids the head kick by Fedorenko.

The cut above Mihail Fedorenko's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Sloppy strikes from Henderson. Those never looked like landing. Fedorenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Henderson misses with a straight right. Henderson cracks Fedorenko with an uppercut from hell and Fedorenko crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Henderson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fedorenko trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fedorenko is trying to keep Henderson in close.
Henderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fedorenko can do to turn this around? Henderson landing some decent shots from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henderson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Henderson takes a head kick and keeps coming.

enabling Fedorenko to counter with a crisp jab. Henderson dodges the punch combination from Fedorenko.
Fedorenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fedorenko is breathing heavily. Fedorenko throws a series of punches but Henderson moves out of range. Henderson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fedorenko sees it coming and avoids it easily. Dan Henderson is winning the standup battle so far. Henderson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fedorenko. Fedorenko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Henderson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab lands there for Henderson.
Mihail Fedorenko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Henderson avoids the head kick by Fedorenko.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Henderson has cracked Fedorenko with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Henderson lands another huge swinging hook and Fedorenko tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Fedorenko, before Henderson can land any more shots!
