Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tataki Mizuto!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizuto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Awa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mizuto somewhat.
Mizuto shoots for a double leg takedown but Awa sprawls well. He's pushed Mizuto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Awa lands with a nice combination. Mizuto backs away looking to recover.
Tataki Mizuto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mizuto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ricardo Awa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tataki Mizuto.
Awa darts in and clinches Mizuto up against the cage.

Awa throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mizutos head.
Awa lands an elbow inside that Mizuto shrugs off.

Mizuto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Awa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Awa working the clinch nicely. Mizuto is working for position but Awa cracks him with a big knee to the head! Mizuto crumples up against the cage and Awa lands two more shots before the ref can save Mizuto! This one is all over!
