Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Karbal Lindi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Hall!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall takes the fight into the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Lindi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lindi looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A right hook to the body lands for Hall.

Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lindi tries to keep at a distance but Hall has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hall manages to break the clinch.
Lindi keeps the fight on the outside.
Hall tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lindi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hall closes the distance and clinches.
Hall avoids the elbow strike from Lindi, against the cage.

Hall breaks from the clinch.
Hall tries to clinch there but Lindi circles away.

Hall lands a lovely overhand right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall slaps away a takedown attempt from Lindi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lindi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lindi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hall clinches up against the cage.

Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Hall rushes Lindi and presses him up against the cage.
Hall looking to throw knees to the head but Lindi is blocking nicely.

Lindi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lindi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Lindi looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hall landing with the ground and pound.
Hall scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hall postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hall lands a couple of decent looking shots.


Lindi is rocked!
Hall connects with a couple of short punches.
Oh Lindi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hall gets to his feet and stands over Lindi, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Lindi felt that one! Hall unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Lindi from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Hall!
The defeated Karbal Lindi had this to say: 'Just bad luck'.
