Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Babilon Mamed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitaliq Shunkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shunkov has chosen Gimn kudo as his entrance music. Ahmed Babilon Mamed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamed tries to sprawl but Shunkov drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Mamed trying to control here.

Shunkov wants to stand but Mamed has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Still in half guard, Shunkov seems content to control.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Vitaliq Shunkov wasn't active enough on the ground.

Shunkov jumps guard and drags Mamed to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Shunkov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mamed is controlling Shunkov's trapped leg to prevent Shunkov from advancing to side control.
Shunkov is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Mamed manages to get to full guard.

Mamed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shunkov was covering up waiting for the punch and Mamed finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Shunkov slaps away a takedown attempt from Mamed, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Mamed gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Shunkov to score an easy takedown into full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Ahmed Babilon Mamed will probably get the nod.

Mamed tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shunkov smiles and moves away.

Shunkov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mamed's guard.
