Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Quinton Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kicky McPuncherton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall's entrance music is John Lennon - Working Class Hero. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quinton Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kicky McPuncherton!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPuncherton takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Marshall misses with a hook. McPuncherton ducked under it nicely.
Marshall misses with a straight left.
Marshall misses with an uppercut. McPuncherton saw that one coming.
We've been informed that McPuncherton has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Marshall throws a body punch but McPuncherton moves out of range.

and whilst Marshall still has his hands down, McPuncherton counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Marshall crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Marshall be able to survive another onslaught?

McPuncherton takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Marshall scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McPuncherton doesn't seem bothered though.
Marshall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McPuncherton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Marshall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McPuncherton scrambles back to his feet.
Marshall cracks a nice hook into McPuncherton's ribs.
Marshall throws a right hand that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Marshall thows a body shot but no joy.
Marshall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McPuncherton walks into a straight right hand from Marshall.

McPuncherton walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marshall lands a jab to McPuncherton's midsection.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and McPuncherton finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

and McPuncherton counters quickly with a head kick that drops Marshall to the mat! The referee starts the count at 3 - will Marshall be able to get back to his feet in time? 4,5,6, he's up. He looks OK so we'll continue the action!

and whilst Marshall still has his hands down, McPuncherton counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Marshall crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Marshall be able to survive another onslaught?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
McPuncherton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Marshall throws a lazy right hand but McPuncherton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kicky McPuncherton!
After winning the bout, Kicky McPuncherton thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
