Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Randy Way (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Way! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cesar Perez! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez clinches. Way has Perez pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Perez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Way changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Perez fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Way dives in for a single leg takedown but Perez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Way. That's going to take a lot out of him. Perez is defending well against a takedown attempt. Perez prevents the takedown attempt.
Way is looking for a takedown. Perez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perez leaves Way with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Way shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Perez sprawls well. Perez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Way gets slowly back to his feet. Way scores with a takedown into Perez's guard. Way might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Way missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Perez wants to sweep but no luck. Perez trying to control the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Way working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Way landing with the ground and pound. Way distracts Perez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Way is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Way throwing strikes but missing. Perez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Way scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Way postures up and lands a big shot to Perez's brow. Way keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Perez's head. Way working some strikes from top position. Way postures up in Perez's guard and throws a big left but Perez blocks it.

Way working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Perez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Perez is rocked! Way works over Perez with some ground and pound from guard. Perez is still in real trouble! Can Way finish him? The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Way working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Perez looks winded! Way with a nice head shot there. Way working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Way keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Perez's head. Way scoring with some ground and pound. Way pushes down on Perez's leg and manages to get into half guard. Way working Perez over with strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Way winds up and cracks Perez with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Way takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Way drops an elbow to the side of Perez's head. Way working the head and body with strikes. Way scores with a big shot! Perez's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Perez! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
