The crowd seem to be enjoying Casacci's choice of entrance music: Serpente by SUBSONICA. Kazumi Okamura could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Max Casacci's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazumi Okamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Casacci!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okamura throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Okamura has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Okamura wants to clinch up but Casacci keeps it at a distance.
A big left from Casacci misses.
Okamura tries to clinch but Casacci is having none of it.
Casacci paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Casacci keeps the fight on the outside.
Casacci throws a good cross that connects.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Okamura fails to land with a series of punches.
Casacci swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Casacci throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've been informed that Casacci has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Casacci misses with a hook.
Casacci lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Okamura is rocked!
Okamura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Casacci swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Okamura is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Casacci lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Okamura up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Casacci from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Okamura's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Max Casacci!
Max Casacci decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
