Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aki Sunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Brit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sunn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Yngwie Malmsteen Rising Force. Brit has chosen Same in the End as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brit moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Sunn throws a wild body kick that Brit sees coming a mile off.
Brit fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sunn checks it well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sunn doesn't manage to clinch there - Brit circles away.
Brit tries to work over Sunn's front leg with a kick but Sunn checks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jimmy Brit will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Sunn misses with a low kick.
Sunn throws a jab when Brit was well out of range.
No joy there for Sunn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brit takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Brit takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sunn lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Brit throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sunn misses with a shot to the body
and Brit counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That kick from Sunn tenderised Brit's leg. Brit is trying to keep his angry face on.
Brit avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Brit displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sunn throws out the jab.
Sunn lands a really nice looking cross but Brit seems unphased.
Sunn has closed the distance and engaged Brit in a clinch.
Brit tries to throw a body punch but Sunn avoids it by throwing Brit back against the cage.
Sunn misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Brit is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sunn can't fight it off and eventually Brit manages to take the fight to the floor. Sunn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Brit working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Brit wants to pass the guard but Sunn is keeping the position.
Brit throws a strike but Sunn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Sunn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Brit looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brit has his foot on Sunn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sunn works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sunn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Sunn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brit works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Brit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sunn defends well.
Sunn has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Brit to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sunn is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Brit pulls down on the head and he's put Sunn to sleep! This one is all over!
