Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Storman Norman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marcos Silva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Norman which made him look bad.
Silva closes the distance looking to clinch
and Norman counters with a nice uppercut.
Norman dips to his left and cracks Silva with an uppercut!
Norman stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Storman Norman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Silva.
Silva tries to clinch but Norman moves away
and Norman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice shot by Norman.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Norman but Norman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Silva darts in looking for a takedown but Norman gets double underhooks and turns Silva into the cage.
Silva fails to pull guard.
Norman has Silva pushed against the cage.
Norman lands a nice uppercut.
Norman misses with a punch on the inside.

Norman lands a hook to the side of the head.
Norman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Norman throws out a powerful jab.
Marcos Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Norman circles away from the clinch attempt
and Norman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Storman Norman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Norman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Norman is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Norman connects with a crisp jab.
Silva tries to clinch but Norman moves away
and Norman counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Norman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva goes for a double leg but Norman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Norman continues to drive forward.
Norman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Norman lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Silva tries to clinch there but Norman circles away.
Norman swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Norman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Norman lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Good standup being displayed there by Norman as he connects with a hook.
Norman lands with a nice body punch.
Silva throws a head kick that misses.
Norman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Norman finds it's way round the side to connect with Silva's head.
Silva throws a series of punches but Norman moves out of range.
A jab from Norman finds it's way through Silva's defenses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silva looks winded!
Norman scores with a sloppy right hand. Silva should have avoided that one.
Norman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Silvas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Norman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Norman scores with a body shot.
Norman with a hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silva's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Norman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Silva scrambles back to his feet.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Norman sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Norman lands with a nice combination. Silva backs away looking to recover.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Storman Norman dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Silva closes the distance and pushes Norman back into the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Norman.
Silva wants the takedown. Norman is fighting it off but Silva persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Norman's guard against the cage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Silva's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Norman trying to keep a closed guard but Silva is proving a slippery customer.
Norman wants to improve his position but instead Silva has moved into half guard.
Silva is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Silva is looking to advance position but Norman won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Norman is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
