The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Harris showed some decent athleticism there. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Well, if Harris is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rivas has hold of Harris's hands but Harris slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Harris working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Rivas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris is trying to stick to Rivas's back but Rivas is turning into Harris. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Harris's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rivas. Harris is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Rivas frees his head nicely. Oh but Harris has switched to an armbar! Rivas is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Bob Harris!
