Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustavo Santos told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soto clinches up with Santos and pushes him back against the cage. Santos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Soto landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Soto creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Santos's defenses. Soto lands an elbow that stopped Santos in his tracks for a moment. Nice elbow from Soto.
It looks like Gustavo Santos has been cut. Soto lands an elbow inside that Santos shrugs off. Soto is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Soto utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Soto lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Santos has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Soto creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Santos! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Soto.
