Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brahma Cervejinha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brahma Cervejinha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Durant!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cervejinha tries a head kick but it misses.
Cervejinha is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Durant.
Durant is looking to clinch but Cervejinha is avoiding it.

Durant shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cervejinha manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Durant throws a strike but Cervejinha rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Cervejinha wants to get up but he can't break Durant's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Cervejinha really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Durant seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Durant looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cervejinha is one step ahead there.

Cervejinha throws a big elbow that misses.

Durant is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cervejinha defends well.
Durant wants to stand and escape but Cervejinha is having none of it.
Durant has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Cervejinha trying to control the position from guard on top but Durant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cervejinha postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Durant is working an open guard so Cervejinha takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Durant is looking to land body kicks.
Cervejinha throws a head kick but Durant moves out of range.
Brahma Cervejinha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cervejinha misses with a head kick.
Brahma Cervejinha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cervejinha throws a head kick that misses.
Cervejinha tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Durant manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Durant tries to clinch up but Cervejinha circles away and keeps his distance.
Durant blocks the body kick.

Cervejinha darts in and clinches Durant up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cervejinha misses with a hook to the ribs.

Cervejinha fails to pull guard.
Cervejinha looking to throw knees to the head but Durant is blocking nicely.

Durant has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cervejinha clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Cervejinha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Durant on the ground.

Cervejinha is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Durant gets his way!

Durant scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Durant wants to control but Cervejinha is keeping busy.

Cervejinha wants to escape the position.
Durant is riding his opponent, not letting Cervejinha buck him off.
Cervejinha covering up well and avoiding damage.
Durant lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Cervejinha.
Durant not allowing Cervejinha to control his hands.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kevin Durant dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Durant looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cervejinha!
Durant slows the pace down.
Cervejinha wants to control but Durant postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cervejinha is looking for a sweep.
A lull in the action here.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Durant works to advance to full mount. Cervejinha defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Durant sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Cervejinha is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Durant wants to control the pace but Cervejinha is squirming around nicely.

Cervejinha tries to lock up and control but Durant gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cervejinha is trying to escape the mount.
Cervejinha might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Durant swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
