Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Zakowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parks is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dr Feelgood. Sammy Zakowski could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jimbo Parks's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parks stuffs the takedown.
Parks fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zakowski paws at him with a jab and circles away.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Zakowski just misses with a elbow thrown towards Parks's brow.

Parks digs a right hand into Zakowski's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Zakowski's gas tank.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zakowski creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Zakowski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Parks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Zakowski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Parks is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zakowski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Parks's back instead.
Parks has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Zakowski.

Zakowski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zakowski is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Parks is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Parks has escaped and now he's on top!

Parks takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Parks holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Zakowski tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The referee warns Parks that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight!
