Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harry Shotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed shoots in and bounces Shotta off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Shotta controls Reed momentarily but Reed frees himself.
Reed stops Shotta from standing up.
Reed thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Shotta really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Reed passes Shotta's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Shotta tries to roll over but Reed keeps him under control.

Reed drops back looking for a leg! Shotta is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shotta manages to kick Reed off! Reed jumps back into Shotta's guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Shotta has managed to clinch.
Reed gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shotta.
Shotta connects with a nasty looking knee right to Reed's face.
Reed goes for a takedown in the clinch but Shotta prevents it.

Shotta is trying to stand up here but Reed is controlling him well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Reed turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Reed manages to end up in side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Reed drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
