Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Experience Test (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pablo Out has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pablo Out!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Experience Test!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ron Honeybunn and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Test misses with a shot to the body
and Out counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Test misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Out.

enabling Out to counter with a crisp jab.
Out throws a hook but Test blocks it.
Out lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Test doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Out dips to his left and cracks Test with an uppercut!
Test slips under a jab.

Test shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Test was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Out tries to bench press Test off him but Test keeps the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Out manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Out is looking for a sweep. Test is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nice strikes from Test there.
Test not doing much here.
Out has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Test passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Out!

Out is working to get back to half guard.
Test controlling the pace for now.
Test lands a couple of good shots and Out has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Test lands strikes to the head.
Test scores with punches and elbows.
Test is trying to stick to Out's back but Out is turning into Test. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Test's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Out.
Out pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Test is keeping the position for now.
Out sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Test's guard.

Test is defending against the submission attempts here by Out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Out looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Test tries to roll over but Out keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Out is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Test doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Out.

Out is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Test wants to get back to full guard.

Out is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Out prevents Test from improving his position.

Out is trying to work for a kimura but Test is defending well.
Test moves into full guard.
Test is pulling down on Out's head. It's preventing any offense from Out, at least for the moment.
Let's hope that Test has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Out passes easily into side control. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Out tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pablo Out will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Test avoids the body shot from Out.
Pablo Out seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danga de danga de dang - Out scores with a four punch combination!
Test misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Out counters with a straight right hand.
Test defending well as Out loads up on a big left hand.
Out throws a body punch but Test moves out of range.
Out shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Out shoots in for a double leg but Test sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Out scores with the left hand. Test knows he should have avoided that one.
Out uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Test.
Out getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Out closes the distance and clinches up with Test, looking for a takedown. Out pushes Test against the cage but Test circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pablo Out. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Out misses with a hook. Test ducked under it nicely.
Test slips a straight right by Out.

Out throws a hook to the side of Test's head but Test sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Test drops his hands momentarily and Out takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Out thows a body shot but no joy.
Test uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Out.

Test looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Test avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Test sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Test stands up over Out, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Out is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Test with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Out had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Test defends it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Test stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Out swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Test connects with a couple of short punches.
Test landing with the ground and pound.
Test not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Out escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Test gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Test passes Out's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Test landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Test is nestled in close to Out, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Out is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Test pulls his head out easily.
Out is pressing down on Test's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Out is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Test defends well.

Out is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Test is aware though and is defending well.
Test lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Test landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Test scores with a couple of short elbows.
Out tries to improve position but can't.
Test connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Out some visible discomfort.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Out is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pablo Out will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Out moves into range and connects with a jab.
Out scores with a nice right hand.
Out moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Out bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Test's head backwards.
Out misses with an uppercut.
Out keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Test decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Out's guard.

Out has an active guard here but Test has managed to pass into half guard.
Test is nestled in close to Out, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Test moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Out.
Test connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Out some visible discomfort.
Out is looking to reverse the position.

Test is chipping away with strikes.
Out is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Test off and has taken his back!
Test felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Out looking for the choke but no joy.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Test tries to escape but Out has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Test turns into Out and is now in his guard.
Test scoring with some ground and pound.

Out has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Test is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Out.

Test looks up at the clock and then as Out takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Test smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Test content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Out isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Test stacks Out on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Test!

Test wants to free his trapped foot but Out is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Test is taking a breather. Out says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Experience Test has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Experience Test has got the better of the ground game so far.
Test working over Out with some ground and pound. Out looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Out has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Test escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Test!

Out is looking to regain half guard here but Test keeps moving and retains side control.
Test lands an elbow.
Test lands a nice forearm strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Out manages to work his way to half guard, despite Test's best efforts.

Out on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

I would just about give that final round to Experience Test.

Pablo Out decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
