Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Artleby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Lim Napoles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacques Lim Napoles will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacques Lim Napoles!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Napoles moves away from the strike by Artleby.
Artleby wants to clinch up but Napoles keeps it at a distance.
Jacques Lim Napoles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Napoles feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Napoles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Artleby swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alan Artleby.

Napoles uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Artleby.
Napoles shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Artleby sprawls well. Artleby wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Napoles gets slowly back to his feet.

Napoles throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Artleby's waist but Artleby gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Napoles off to one side.

Napoles closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Napoles shoots in looking for a takedown. Artleby tries to sprawl out of it but Napoles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Artleby manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Napoles misses with a takedown attempt - Artleby sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
