Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emanoel Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Emanoel Moreno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Dixon!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon closes the distance and clinches up with Moreno, looking for a takedown. Dixon pushes Moreno against the ropes but Moreno circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dixon has his takedown stuffed

and Moreno counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Moreno trying to control the position but Dixon is working away.
Dixon can't do much from the bottom here.
Moreno wants to take a breather but Dixon manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Moreno.

Moreno takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Dixon is refusing to be controlled, as Moreno sits in half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Moreno is pressing down on Dixon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dixon is holding on for now.

Moreno is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dixon tries for a takedown but Moreno circles away easily

Moreno is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Dixon to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Dixon is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Moreno has taken his back.

Moreno wants to control the position but Dixon frees himself and scrambles - Moreno manages to regain control in side control.
Emanoel Moreno overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Moreno goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dixon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Moreno but great work by Dixon.
Moreno manages to get back to half guard.
Moreno is not content to let Dixon control the position.

Moreno is trying to maintain the position but Dixon is very close to passing his half guard.

Dixon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Moreno is just riding it out for now. Dixon eventually gives up the hold.
Moreno wants to get back to full guard.
Dixon working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Moreno's thigh. Moreno counters though and makes it back to full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dixon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moreno swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moreno looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dixon is one step ahead there.
My spies in EvolutioN MMA Acadamy & Gym ( 12 ELITE Coaches ) inform me that Dixon has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Dixon is staying active underneath Moreno, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Moreno is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dixon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Moreno.

Dixon doesn't succeed with the takedown

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moreno, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
