Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Casey Silk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romano Schoots (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Schoots's choice of entrance music: momma said knock you out. Casey Silk could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Romano Schoots's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schoots scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Casey Silk has been cut. Silk gets a takedown into half guard. Silk thows a huge punch but Schoots dodges it nicely.
Schoots wants to get back to his feet. Ground and pound from Silk. Silk stops Schoots from getting back to his feet.
Silk scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Silk working over Schoots with some ground and pound. Schoots looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Schoots is looking to escape. Silk working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Schoots makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Silk shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Schoots's guard. Schoots has his feet on Silk's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wooooo! Romano Schoots seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Silk lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Silk seems content to control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Silk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Schoots is just riding it out for now. Silk eventually gives up the hold. Schoots is trying to stand.
Schoots looks gassed! Silk is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Schoots has hold of Silk's hands but Silk slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Silk working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Silk cracks Schoots with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schoots's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Silk working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schoots looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Can Schoots hold on?! Silk is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
