Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diego Silang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musfa Caparzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silang comes to the cage accompanied by Make it bun dem Skrillex. The crowd seem to be enjoying Caparzo's choice of entrance music: Moving Units (MLB 06 The Show Soundtrack). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caparzo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Caparzo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Caparzo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silang knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Caparzo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Silang has escaped the position, nice work there.
Caparzo wants to stand but Silang is controlling his arm.
Silang is trying to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Caparzo throws a right and a left that both miss.

Caparzo moves into the clinch.

Caparzo wants the takedown. Silang is fighting it off but Caparzo persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silang's guard against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silang is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Caparzo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Caparzo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Silang seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Caparzo wants to pass the guard but Silang is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Diego Silang wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Caparzo works to advance to full mount. Silang defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Caparzo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Silang is now in Caparzo's guard. A big mistake from Caparzo there, giving up the dominant position!

Silang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Caparzo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Caparzo is just riding it out for now. Silang eventually gives up the hold.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silang seems to be looking for submissions.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Caparzo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silang tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Caparzo is in Silang's guard.

Caparzo is sitting in close to Silang's body. Silang has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Caparzo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Caparzo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silang.
